Capcom will be pushing a playable demo of the upcoming open-world action RPG, Dragon’s Dogma, available from the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network.

The demo allows players to experience two character classes in two challenging scenarios: the Fighter, experienced in melee combat taking on the Chimerain in an underground chamber; and the ninja-like Strider, about to defeat the mighty Griffin ont he plains of Gransys. The demo also features the character creator for players to customise their very own Fighter or Strider for the demo, which can also be imported into the full game when it launches.

The demo will be available to download globally via Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the North American PlayStation Store from Tuesday, April 24 and on the European PlayStation Store the following day on April 25th. Dragon’s Dogma will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 22 in North America and Europe on May 25.
