Singapore, 21^st May 2012 - Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong (SCEH) announced today that a PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) console with a special collaboration design with SEGA Corporation^※1 will be released as part of a limited quantity pack on 30^th August, 2012. This pack will also includes PS Vita exclusive title NEXT HATSUNE MIKU Project DIVA (tentative) which is set to hit the shelves on the same date, a 4GB memory card^※2 for game saves and add-on contents, an original-design protective film, an original-design AR Card and Trooper Pack for PlayStation®Vita. NEXT HATSUNE MIKU Project DIVA (tentative) is the newest installment in the HATSUNE MIKU Project DIVA series, a rhythm action title staring the electronic diva Hatsune Miku. Preserving the traditional gameplay of “pressing the buttons as the character sings”, this new title allows a new type of “scratching” action that is realized by the multi-touch panels. By tapping the screen in an intuitive way, gamers can enjoy an entirely new gaming experience. Having gone under a complete re-modification, the character models are cute, expressive and evoke brand new sensations, while the series’ various popular costumes of Miku and others are also available as new designs.

The PlayStation®Vita HATSUNE MIKU Limited Edition is a special design putting the title’s main character Hatsune Miku on the rear touch pad. Gamers feel as if they are holding Hatsune Miku in their palms when they play titles on this special edition of PS Vita.

Trooper Pack for PlayStation®Vita is a townbag-like pouch that is perfect as a unisex, casual fashion item. The screen protective pads, used to protect the PlayStation®Vita screen (touchscreen), fit perfectly between the left stick and right stick of the console to protect the screen from scratches.

With the release and promotion of the much-awaited new title NEXT HATSUNE MIKU Project DIVA (tentative), SCEH is geared up to provide opportunities for more gamers to experience the charm of this title as well as promote the further expansion of the PS Vita platform.
