Posted by Julian Yeo Well, it had a good run. Nintendo Japan has silently announced that the Aqua Blue colour for the Nintendo 3DS will become a collector’s item when they stop producing them “shortly”.
Okay, so they aren’t ceasing production to make it a collector’s item, but this is an odd piece of news considering there is no reason given for their decision, though the online community of Japan is citing it as an unpopular colour.
Sure, it looked funny when it first came out, but I got used to it. It looks okay. It’s been through with me for the year, and will probably stick with me in the long run, unless someone comes up to me to swap it for a Purple Nintendo 3DS.
