The wait was short-lived and Ubisoft has world-premiere’d the gameplay trailer for Assassin’s Creed III, which pretty much covers most of what we mentioned in our preview of the game.

The 2-minute long trailer showcases the AnvilNext game engine and the spectactular battles and fights AC3 will play host to, not to mention the hundreds of soldiers on that one scene alone. Running assassinations, rope darting, free-running into houses, mountain climbing, and bears and horses.

Assassin’s Creed III is officially bound for an October 30th release in North America for Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and Windows PC.
