Raymus Chang, better known to the fighting game world as DM|ShenYuan, recently steamrolled Japanese Soul Calibur V players at a Tokyo Super Battle Opera (SBO) qualifier to win himself a trip back to Japan for the finals at Tougeki 2012.
DM|ShenYuan emerged from the qualifier’s top 6 round robin as the undisputed champion, having played a perfect victory of 5 – 0.
While we were unable to get a hold of Raymus owing to his lack of a roaming smartphone and Internet (he’s in Tokyo for extra training before EVO), this is certainly a good precursor of victories to come at Vegas.
Stay tuned to RGB this week for even more fighting game news as EVO 2k12 draws near!
