You can prepare for an epic new adventure in Azeroth by making a digital pre-purchase of the game. We’re pretty sure launch days in WoW don’t make spectacles of themselves like Diablo III did…
Mists of Pandaria (MoP) will raise the level cap to 90 and introduce the Pandaren race along with the Pandaren monk class. Apart from the regular Standard Edition of the game (US$39.99), Blizzard is also providing a Digital Deluxe edition (US$59.99). Like all digital purchases from Blizzard, you’ll be able to pre-download the game client. This version of the game will unlock when the expansion launches.
The Digital Deluxe edition includes a full copy of the expansion and a selection of Pandaria-inspired in-game content for WoW, Diablo III and StarCraft II. Players will get an Imperial Quilen flying mount and a Lucky Quilen Cub cosmetic pet for WoW, StarCraft Battle.net portraits of an Infested Orc and Night Elf Templar, and a Diablo III Banner Sigil and Accent.
A Collector’s Edition will also be available at retail locations, though we don’t have the SRP on this yet. The CE will include a behind-the-scenes DVD and Blu-Ray disc, a CE edition of the in-game soundtrack, a Mists of Pandaria artbook and a Chen Stormstout mousepad!
More details are forthcoming from Asiasoft, so watch our page for updates! In the meantime, you can also head over to the game’s official subsite to sate your fanboyish excitement. One thing’s for sure, though. The RGB team will be heading back into Azeroth once boats set sail for Pandaria!
