New Character, Bill, Added To Last Of Us Cast

The game The Last of Us also unveiled an additional character over the Comic-Con weekend. Supporting character Bill is, according to Joystiq, a “crotchety, tough old man with a safe house that Ellie and Joel break into.” (Update: Video after the jump!)

Safe house, crotchety, tough, old man… Sounds like we’ve seen this guy somewhere before. Also, the cinematic cutscene revealed at SDCC has Joel and Ellie looking to scavenge around town for parts that Bill can use to build them a car.

We wonder if this is the same army veteran Bill who survived a certain zombie apocalypse…
