London’s been infected, and you’re one of the few humans left. Kitted out with a ‘Bug-Out Bag’ that holds everything you need to survive, you’ve got to traverse its plague-ridden streets and stay alive.

What keeps ZombiU fresh isn’t just its use of the Wii U’s unique hardware. We like that there’s a unique death mechanic. The game’s not over when you die. Instead, you wake up to play an entirely new character who’s another survivor in the same situation. You’ll need to recover the Bug-Out Bag from your previous character…who has become a zombie!

There’s also a mercy kill option, where your online friends are notified when your character gets infected. They can then hunt you down, loot your Bug-Out Bag, and put you out of your misery.

The Comic-Con trailers for ZombiU already reveal a terrifying depth to its gameplay, replete with little details that scare the heck out of us. It can only get better as we draw closer to the Wii U’s release!
