Interplay is bringing Black Isle Studios back.

“Our goal has always been to make the world’s best RPGs.” is written on their website’s splash page. “Black Isle Studios is back.”

Before we all turn back into gushing fanboys, do note that while Interplay has revived the brand name, this resurrection has got nothing to do with the original members of the team, like Chris Avellone and Brian Fargo. Brian even tweeted this:
