EA’s Frank Gibeau is such a tease.

According to GameSpot, Gibeau didn’t just confirm that new consoles from Microsoft and Sony exist – he also said that he’s seen both of them.

Rumours are rife about next-gen consoles. Microsoft mentioned a new Xbox recently, while Sony has hinted the same about its PS4.

However, nothing confirms things like how EA has pledged to spend US$80 million on next-gen developments this year.

In his Gamescom keynote address, Gibeau also reiterated EA’s commitment to free-to-play, and showed off the developer’s new Command & Conquer, which was built with the DICE Frostbite 2 engine.
