Star in your own teen horror movie with Until Dawn, a PlayStation Move exclusive debuting in 2013.

The game throws you into the action with eight teenagers who head to a secluded mountain cabin on the anniversary of their friend’s death. They needed a closure, and they needed to bury their ghosts. But with no power and no phone reception in the dead of winter, you can be sure something terrifying is to happen…

In Until Dawn, your Move Motion Controller will become the flashlight you’ll need to survive until daybreak. It will also map your hand movements one-to-one to what’s happening on screen. Play through the story as multiple characters, with a friend, or on your own, to find out who – or what – is trying to kill you all off.

“It’s up to you how you play, so we don’t know how your story will go or who’ll be there with you at the end,” wrote Will Byles, Executive Creative Director for Until Dawn on the PlayStation blog, hinting at an open-ended story.

He added that the game’s plot was being worked on by “Hollywood writers and US TV talent”, and was also inspired by “classic movies like Friday the 13th, Halloween, and SCREAM.”
