Activities for International Cosplay Day Singapore (ICDS) are ramping up!

There are three competitions available to participants.

The ICDS Cosplay Competition calls for cosplayers to showcase their costumes onstage (for up to two minutes) in front of a panel of judges. Both store-bought and self-made costumes are eligible, though bonus points are awarded for self-made cosplays.

For the more self-conscious cosplayers, there’s the Cosplay Catwalk, where one merely has to strut his or her stuff without having to interact with the judges.

And finally, photographers at the event will be delighted to know there is a competition just for them! All you have to do is to upload a photo of a cosplayer that you took at IDCS onto the event’s Facebook page by September 1 2012.

Prizes run from Takashimaya vouchers to cash prizes of up to S$300.
