Peripheral maker Mad Catz has announced the first ever wireless headset for two-way communication on the Xbox 360.

The Warhead 7.1 Wireless Surround Headset is also capable of 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound, with controls and recharagble battery on the headset, with one to spare to charge on the base station. The headset’s microphone can be removed when you don’t feel much like chatting. It is also less prone to radio interference being on the 5.8GHz wireless range.

It also comes with EQ controls to fit itself best to gaming, movies or music playback. everything you’ll need to hook up the headset to your Xbox 360. It retails for US$299.99.
