Mega Man is coming to the iOS again, and not in the typical way you always imagined him to be.

Mega Man Xover (pronounced Crossover) is a social RPG released to commemorate the franchise’s 25^th anniversary. Mega Man Xover is named for the world it is based in: which is a mashup, or crossover, of all existing Mega Man worlds.

Players will get to build their own Mega Man to save Mega Man heroes that have been locked away in separate dimensions by villains such as Dr. Wily and Sigma. In line with the social RPG aspect, they’ll also team up with other gamers to save the world.

Mega Man Xover is scheduled to be out this Fall for the iOS at a yet-to-be-determined price.
