Ubisoft has announced Rayman Jungle Run for iOS and Android platforms, bringing the Rayman Origins experience to mobile.

Since Rayman is only seen running like a mad lum in the really short trailer, coupled with the “Unlock the Land of the Livid Dead levels if you have the skills!” line in the video’s description, it seems more than likely to be just one packed with Chest Chasing levels, where Rayman chases after a Chest concealing a Skull Tooth within in Rayman Origins, and not a full platforming game a la Rayman Origins.

It, of course, uses the UbiArt framework for the really sharp graphics in Rayman Origins we grew to love, and it looks great in the trailer. The game is bound for a 20th September release on the App Store and Google Play.
