Capcom has just announced that come September 18, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners will be able to download a new RE6 demo from both Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Store.

This demo will have content from the game’s three main campaigns, and will feature both solo and co-op play. You’ll be able to play as either Leon or Helena and explore Ivy University, or as Jake as he fights off the J’avo with Sherry.

RE6’s global setting will also be showcased via Chris’s campaign: Chris and Piers Nivans will head into the streets of Edonia to trade blows with the J’avo.

Owners of the PS3 version of Dragon’s Dogma will be able to download the demo previously only available to Xbox 360 owners via a token redemption on the PlayStation Store.
