Halo 4 will only be launched next week, but you could already get into the Halo mood by putting your dough down for the awesome (because it really is!) Mad Catz TRITTON Halo 4 series of headsets.
Besides sporting Halo 4 graphics, these headsets will also come with exclusive downloadable content – although each headset comes with different DLC (see below).
Products available as part of the range include:
- Halo 4 Trigger™ Stereo Headset (with bonus ‘United Nations Space Command’ (UNSC) Logo T-Shirt DLC)
- Halo 4 Warhead 7.1 Surround Gaming Headset (with bonus ‘Forward Unto Dawn’ Animated Prop DLC)
- TRITTON Detonator™ Stereo Headset, TRITTON Primer™ Wireless Stereo Headset and standard edition TRITTON Trigger and Warhead 7.1 headsets will come packaged with bonus ‘Halo 4 Logo T-Shirt’ DLC.
While Mad Catz has been more synonymous with the fighting game genre through their range of arcade fight sticks, lately the company has been producing a more diverse range of eSports-grade products – including RGB’s in-house favorite mouse. The TRITTON Warhead 7.1 Surround headset may be pricey, but they are also the best 7.1 gaming-grade headset my ears have ever laid on.

I believe the Robots have gone really BAD or the reviewer just have a pair of tone deaf ears. Are you really sure that the Tritton Warhead 7.1 is THE best headsets or you are just another Halo fanboy trying to gain favor from Microsoft for being the headset branding since it’s theme under Halo? Please write something more genuine rather than writing something for your own preference! Be fair to us gamers will you? Spending so much and eventually you get sound to the reviewer’s preference instead of yours because he is a fanboy and end up spending more for other better headsets out there and trying to get rid a piece of junk recommended by the reviewer… Tsk… Totally wasted. You can call me an internet troll for all I care but I care for gamers in Singapore! They deserve something more genuine!
I am a gamer in Singapore and I would like to ask you this.
Why is the review tone deaf? Do you know what tone deaf means? Are you implying that this headset miraculously changes the tone of the music running through it and the reviewer can’t detect this?
And what you rant about the entire paragraph, I can’t seem to find where you find the faults of Tritton at for being a “junk”. Can you elaborate on why Tritton is a junk headset and provide comparisons of statistics and research of what constitutes a good gaming headset? And please be sure to only base this on facts, no personal opinion or whatsoever. If not, why should we read your preference right? Since you obviously cannot stand to read other’s preference ( and I thought most reviews should come from personal preference and experience, that’s why it’s a review in the first place).
Anyway, this article is just to highlight the product’s impending launch. I doubt it was meant as a review.
I think , Gordon Bleu, we deserve genuine comments too.
