Okami HD has its paws on the PlayStation Network now for just US$19.99. The HD remake boasts not just improved graphics, but also PlayStation Move and PlayStation 3 system trophy support.

PS Move compatibility lets players naturally make brush strokes with the Move controller acting as the Celestial Brush. The game still supports play by controller, though, so fans of the original experience can rest easy.

For those who missed the original release, Okami was brought to life as a PlayStation 2 game where players take on the role of Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess. Ammy is embodied by a white wolf with red markings on her fur. After a tyrannical monster turns the world in a ruined wasteland, Amaterasu has to use her magical powers to restore the world to its former glory.

Her other big appearance on a console gaming platform is in the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 game.
